The History Press is the UK’s largest specialist history publisher. We publish around 200 new titles a year on a wide range of subjects including local, military and transport history, general history and heritage.
We are looking for a full-time marketing executive to implement publicity campaigns for new national history books. Our award-winning lists comprise of military history, biography and transportation history titles. This role will support the Campaigns Manager to develop marketing and publicity strategies in order to engage with readers, maximise awareness of titles and enhance The History Press’ reputation in the trade.
The ideal candidate will have experience in writing press releases, creating and executing creative integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print media, and have excellent project management skills. Core attributes include outstanding written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work as a team across a multitude of projects. Ideal candidates will be flexible, creative, articulate, and confident in communicating with press contacts, authors and in-house teams.
This role is based in our offices situated in Brimscombe, near Stroud and the salary for this role will be in the region of £18,000 depending upon experience.
