Synopsis
Here is the only trivia book that Rovers fans could ever need, packed with facts, stats, quotes and anecdotes about the irrepressible Doncaster Rovers, from their non-league battles of survival to Premiership-worthy stadia and million-pound players.
Did you know?
Alick Jeffrey made his Rovers debut at the age of 15 years, 229 days in 1954 against Fulham at Belle Vue to become the club’s youngest ever player.
During the 1946/47 season Rovers were the only club in the entire Football League to enjoy the notable achievement of scoring 8 or more goals on two occasions.
Rovers’ visit to Leicester in December 2010 turned out to be a record-breaker, as Billy Sharp scored his 100th goal for Rovers and Sean O'Driscoll oversaw his 300th match in charge. However, Rovers still lost 5–1!
